Wood Front Doors

6/22/17

It's that time of year again where I stand at the end of my driveway staring at our home daydreaming about how to make it Pinterest-worthy......

Tom & I daydream about the exterior of our home a lot actually. Mostly because it'll need a LOT of TLC and we'll have to put a ton of work into it. But our interior is priority so the exterior will remain.. erm, humble, for now.

As the daydreaming continues, I wanted to share a piece of my inspiration:
Wood front doors.

Goodbye glossy painted finish! Large character-filled front doors are in. These doors will add something to unique to your curb appeal - they're stop-in-your-tracks and stare in awe kind of doors, which will give your home a really striking change from the rest of the block!

Here are some of my favourites to get you as inspired & ansty as I am.

If their own space is any indication, I’m pretty sure Nic Teasley, custom home builder, has found his calling. The home he shares with his wife, Meredith, is beautiful (those wood floors!), but also incredibly inviting (and that’s by design!). I know you’ll love this peek inside their modern farmhouse in Tennessee as much as …:

Pictured is a Country French Segment Top Exterior Wood Entry Door 42" X 96" made of  Mahogany installed on a home in Birmingham, Alabama.  This door has 14 Flat Panels and Leaded Restoration Glass.  The Rocky Mountain Bronze G641/E431 hardware adds the finishing touch to this Country French Home.:

Whitewashed brick, wood door, and blue shutters on this entry.:

One of the prettiest front entries I've ever seen! Love those wooden front…:
